Yulogo AI

OCR Automation and Document AI for Invoices, Challans and Forms

OCR automation is useful when a document still has to be typed into a system. Yulogo builds document AI that reads the file or photo, pulls the fields your process needs, checks them against a vendor, PO or lot, and posts only what passes — or queues the rest for review.

What it changes for your business

  • 01

    Hours off data entry

Accounts and stores stop retyping the same invoice, challan or inward document.

  • 02

A review queue, not a blind post

Unclear scans and mismatched totals wait for a person instead of corrupting the ledger.

  • 03

    The same fields every time

Vendor, date, lines, tax and reference numbers land in the structure your ERP expects.

  • 04

A trail back to the file

The original document stays attached to the record, so a dispute can be checked.

Documents we automate

We train the checks on your layouts, not on a generic invoice sample.

  • Supplier invoices and bills
  • Delivery challans and goods inward
  • Purchase orders
  • KYC and onboarding forms
  • Shipping and packing documents
  • Textile job-work and process challans
  • Line-item extraction, not only the header
  • ERP or accounts posting after validation

How it works in practice

  • Invoice capture

    1. File arrives by email
    2. Header and lines are read
    3. PO is matched
    4. Exception or approval
  • Goods inward

    1. Challan is photographed
    2. Party and quantity are read
    3. Lot is opened
    4. Store confirms

OCR is the start, not the product

Reading text from a scan is the easy part. Document AI automation earns its place when the result matches a business rule: this vendor, this tax, this open order, this lot. Yulogo builds that check, and the screen where a clerk fixes the few documents the model should not guess.

Textile and other operations

Mills and process houses live on challans that are handwritten or photographed on the floor. The same pattern applies in distribution and services: a document at the gate has to become stock, a bill and a payable without a second register.

Frequently asked questions

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

What is the difference between OCR and document AI?

OCR turns an image into text. Document AI decides which text is the invoice number, the tax, the line quantity, and whether it agrees with a purchase order or a lot. Yulogo builds the second part, and the review step around it.

Can it read photos from a phone?

Yes, within reason. Very poor photos still go to a person. We test with the kind of images your team actually sends, including uneven light and creased paper.

Will it post straight into Tally, an ERP or our accounts tool?

When that system has an import or an API we can use safely. If it does not, we deliver a checked file or a review screen your team already trusts, and we say so before the project starts.

How accurate does it need to be?

Accurate enough that the review queue is the exception. We agree the fields that must be right — totals, tax, party, quantity — and measure those on your documents before go-live.
